Beit Midrash Programme
Charitable Status:
Rachael's Centre for Torah Mussar & Ethics is now a registered charity in Canada.
Charitable Registration Number 80744 7016 RR0001
All financial contributions including classes will receive a tax receipt for the full amount.
General Refund & Credit Policy:
In the event of a student withdrawal from the Beit Midrash Programme, prior to
its start date, a refund or credit will be issued for the full amount of the
programme fee, minus a $50.00 administration fee. If a student withdraws after
the first class, a full refund or credit will be issued minus a $100.00 administration
fee. Following the second class, refunds or credits will not be issued; with the
exception of significant personal or family circumstances. In these cases, a
refund or credit will be issued on a pro rata basis minus a $100.00 administration
fee.
Web Access and CD Borrowing Policy:
Class recordings of currently offered courses will be available, at
www.learningwithrachael.com, to all participants of the Beit Midrash Programme. The
complete library of class recordings will be available throughout the course
duration and for one week following the date of the last class. We will continue to
make CDs available for borrowing on a limited basis.
Cancelled Class Policy:
In the unlikely event that Rachaelʼs Centre cancels a class, every attempt will be
made to schedule a make-up class. If you are unable to attend the make-up
class, a CD will be available for borrowing.
TOMgirls
TOMgirls Registration and Participation:
Class sizes are limited to 10 Mother and Daughter couples.
Rachael's Centre reserves the right to not run classes where the minimum registration
threshold (7) is not reached. In these cases a complete refund will be given
to registrants or they will be offered an alternative course time.
General Policies
Access to Learning Policy:
If medical or financial hardship ever presents a problem meeting tuition fees,
please speak directly to Uliana.
Privacy and confidentiality is respected. No questions are asked.
Security:
Our online programs and web environment is protected by a certified SSL
provider which specializes in restricting outside persons from accessing our
databases and forms. We will use all commercially reasonable efforts to restrict
access to the data you store in your account to persons accessing such data
through use of your account or password, including authorized viewers.
Rachael's Centre reserves the right to access your account for support
requirements, and to verify that your account is not being misused. Rachael's
Centre will not be liable for any loss or liability that you may incur as a result of
anyone else using your password to access your account data, either with or
without your knowledge or permission. Your account access is for your sole use
and is not to be shared. You will not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any
servers or software controlled by Rachael's Centre, or access such servers or
software for unauthorized purposes.
Derech Eretz Policy:
Everyone who participates at Rachaelʼs Centre understands and is committed
to the Jewish focus of ʻDerech Eretzʼ, ways of interacting together and
studying together, while stressing courtesy and respect toward
the other person at all times.
To help understand expressing these concepts, it is important to remember
that if you are troubled by anything you see in your environment at Rachaelʼs
Centre, please communicate this privately and respectfully to anyone who
represents Rachaelʼs Centre. We are interested in
hearing from you should
you have a concern.
All classes have an open seating approach. Seats are not reserved and
anyone occupying a seat is welcome to it and should not be asked to relocate.

Privacy Policy:
Rachael's Centre for Torah Mussar & Ethics respects the privacy of any personal
information provided by you and protects it through its Privacy Policy. Rachael's
Centre reserves the right to disclose any information provided by you as it deems
necessary to satisfy any applicable law, regulation, legal process, government
request, to protect the Services or the rights of Rachael's Centre, or as otherwise
required or permitted by law. Rachael's Centre may use information provided by
you in order to identify or resolve technical problems concerning the Services, to
tailor its Services to you, to facilitate your use of the Services and to
communicate with you.
Information that is acquired by Rachael's Centre is for communications and
internal use and is not shared with any other person(s) or organization(s).
Rachael's Centre does not retain on its site credit card information that is
acquired temporarily to facilitate electronic commerce transactions for donations,
courseware and e-store purchases unless instructed to do so by the cardholder.
